That’s right, I am nearly 40!

As I celebrate my birthday turning 39 today, I find myself in a moment of reflection, contemplating the winding path that has brought me here, on the brink of a significant milestone. As the sun rises on another year, I can’t help but marvel at the journey I’ve been on, particularly in the realms of family and home.

Raising a family has been one of the greatest joys and challenges of my life. The past years have been filled with laughter, tears, and countless unforgettable moments shared with my loved ones. Watching my children grow and flourish, witnessing their unique personalities blossom, has been nothing short of miraculous. Each milestone they reach fills me with pride and gratitude, reminding me of the incredible privilege it is to be their parent.

But alongside the joys, there have been struggles too. Parenthood is a journey fraught with uncertainties, doubts, and sleepless nights. Yet, it is precisely in those moments of struggle that I’ve discovered reservoirs of strength and resilience within myself that I never knew existed. Together with my partner, we’ve navigated the challenges, learning and growing with each passing day.

And then there’s the notion of home—the sacred space where our family’s story unfolds. Building a home has been more than just bricks and mortar; it’s been about creating a haven where love, warmth, and acceptance abound. From the laughter that echoes through its halls to the quiet moments of togetherness, our home is a sanctuary—a place where memories are made and cherished for a lifetime.

As I stand on the threshold of 40, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation mingled with gratitude. The journey so far has been rich with experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. And as I look ahead to the future, I do so with optimism and a renewed commitment to nurturing my family and tending to the hearth that binds us together.

I am looking forward to spending some quality time with the family and I actually manage to switch-off from work this weekend! 

So here’s to 39—a year of growth, discovery, and embracing the beauty of the everyday. And as I inch closer to the big 4-0, I do so with a heart full of love and a spirit buoyed by the knowledge that the best is yet to come. 🌟🏡💖
