Happy 40th to Sadie Gates
Wishing Sadie Gates a Happy 40th Birthday this year. I will be playing catch-up next year, however I am still embracing my 30’s whilst they last!
We are fortunate to be spending it with her children in the hot and sunny climates of the Caribbean, staying at Whala Bavavo Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
As part of our family holiday away, we have already taken the children Horse Back riding across the coast at El Pat Ranch, which we saw some stunning views across the crystal clear Caribbean sea.
As part of the plans today, we experience a once-in-a-lifetime swim with Dolphins at the Dolphin Explorer Program in Punta Cana.
Unlike other places, fortunately, the Dolphins are kept in their natural environment in the ocean, not in cages nor in glass tanks and are certainly well fed and cared for in a humane manner. The Dolphins are certainly not under pressure to perform in the water, however as the social creatures they are, they enjoyed spending time with us and we had some amazing interactions with them in the water.
What an amazing experience this was, although the photos and videos captured were expensive (they didn’t allow our own), this was something certainly worth buying for the cherished memories we all experienced.
