Music Bingo is a fresh and entertaining twist on the traditional bingo game, combining the excitement of music with the familiar format of bingo. Instead of calling out numbers, the game host plays snippets of songs, and players mark off the corresponding song titles on their bingo cards. This blend of music trivia and bingo offers a fun, interactive experience that’s perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Our public event runs at The Talbot in Cuckfield on the last Wednesday of each month starting 31st July 2024.
How to play Music Bingo
If you have never played before, all you need to do is follow these 6 simple steps to ensure it is a successful game:

GET YOUR BINGO CARD
Each player or team receives a bingo card, which is a grid filled with song titles or artist names instead of numbers. The cards can be themed by decade, genre, or any other musical category.

LISTEN TO THE MUSIC
As the game host, we will play short clips of various songs. These clips usually last around 30 seconds, giving players enough time to identify the song and find it on their cards.

MARK YOUR CARD
If you recognise the song and it’s listed on your bingo card, mark it off. You can use a pen, a dauber, or digital markers if you’re playing with electronic cards.

ACHIEVE BINGO
Just like traditional bingo, the goal is to complete a specific pattern on your card. This could be a straight line, four corners, a full house, or any other designated pattern. The first person to complete the pattern shouts “Bingo!” and wins a prize

VERIFY THE WIN
Once someone calls bingo, we will pause the game and verify the winning card against the played songs. If everything checks out, the player wins. If not, the game continues until there is a valid winner.

COLLECT YOUR PRIZE
Depending on if cash is up for stakes or another prize, collect your prize and be proud to call yourself a Music Bingo champion!
